Story 4: Nocturne (the “title track,” if you will) - Some plot with mild excitement, but again, underwhelming because I couldn’t quite pick up on the overarching theme/story. Reading about love and heartbreak only serves to make me sad… but at least I should be grateful that I can feel?

Story 3: Malvern Hills - This was my favorite of the three stories so far, but again the plot is lacking for my taste. I think it needs more ambulances.

Story 2: Come Rain or Shine - This was not a great follow-up to the first story, though it had more of a storyline. I think perhaps the beauty of these stories lie in the descriptors of the scenery and music, rather than the plot.

Story 1: Crooners - This was not a great start to the book, but perhaps it was a little on the nose given my current situation.
