The movies are more faithful than I expected so far. With some obvious deviations.

Such a fun, whimsical story. Never read the book as a child but saw two movies, a spinoff play, and a spinoff book series. I showed Josh my favorite movie adaptation and we had a grand time. I think this book must be even better as an adult. It is such an insightful and twinkling look at childhood and parenthood.
