This book is hard to get through. Written as a dissertation, the language used is not easy to read, so it takes a while for me to digest what was written.
The author seems angry at the oppression on women, but who is she angry at? I don’t know that a group of higher ups came together to say ‘Women have to be beautiful or else…’ but this seems to be a main point, although there are some valid arguments
