Part 3 (continuation on the fatphobic aspects of the novel)
It is shown that fat people connect through their love by their shared taste in food and passion for meals rather than a more tender, nuanced and impactful connection through knowing each other more and tending towards each other. This is disturbing to great lengths, the narrative is also set to display overweight people as dumb or naive. I'm repulsed.

This just keeps getting worse, the fatshaming narrative just keeps on worsening, and talking strictly aside the issues with the book, the mystery aspect of it is also so poorly done. There is no thrill whatsoever and progressing through the book feels like a slog. And painful too, given the shallow storytelling and utterly stereotypical representation of people, and own biased fatphobic narrative of the author,

I would like to add more on the fatphobic aspect of this book. This is just a very disgusting portrayal of overweight people, it is shown as though the lives of overweight individuals rotate primarily around food and without constant dosages of food and meals they are unable to function??? There are also fat shaming notion which is perceived as normal.
More on this on the next update since I don't have enough space

I have so many problems with this novel already. Aside from the bland, dry and extremely poor writing that lacks and nuanced depth or progresses through within a meaningful prose, this novel does a very problematic representation of overweight people and fatphobia runs within this book in extreme lengths, although very subtle at moments. I am already disliking this, aside from the mystery angle throughout.
