Cue the waterworks!!!! 😭😭😭 every single time I read a book and a trans person is accepted for who they are I just start crying. To accept somebody that fully and irrevocably love them, it’s just so beautiful!

This book is hitting far too close to home. The craziest part is that sometimes the anecdote is extremely similar to something from my own childhood, except in my situation my family wasn’t as supportive. Often times because they wrongly assumed that trying to build me tough or assimilate more to larger culture would spare me from a lot of pain.
