There are few gloomier sights than a deserted playground.

The same day I saw the movie Disclosure Day I’m reading this Hitler book and Hitler makes a point about Mozart that I made after seeing that movie. Not quite the same but similar. My point was if Mozart didn’t learn notation we wouldn’t know Mozart. Hitler’s point was if Mozart never was given a piano we would never know Mozart. Wow universe

Some people in desperation cling to their sorry achievements to their doubtful fame to their television slot, as if it were an accolade.
The point is, keep pushing forward, not relying on any past achievement to say who you are or who you are forever

Talking about a YouTube video that’s very old yes but still attracts maybe 15,000 people a year
This is why making YouTube vids is a good investment. And you have lots of ideas Jeremy

I rebuked myself for having become too dependent on my party machine. Finding myself again, a square one, I would have to confront this contraption myself, for better or for worse.
Hitler is referring to operating a smart phone, but I think this sentence is a good reminder of not letting yourself become complacent with certain things.

Taking lessons from Hitler:
One must undertake everything with utter, fanatical determination. Or one will get nowhere.

Douglas Engelbart: American that invented the computer mouse. Hitler is praising the invention and I learn something.

I sighed, and for a moment my heart pounded with an uneasy despair. But only for a moment. Resolutely, I banished the temptations of weakness. A politician makes the most of what there is. Or, of what there is not.
(ME) applicable to all.

This book is awesome. Not only for history lessons here and there but to witness Hitler discovering TV, cellphones etc and you’re reminded just how much schlock we distract ourselves with. Thanks for the reminder, Hitler.
