fersifers Honestly, same. I convince myself I’m saving it for the right moment and then read three other books first. Sooo go ahead, I have it but haven’t read it 😅

Olfat I didn't like it at all. It's downright biased and it's a tragedy despite the hint at the happy ending.. but you should give yourself a chance to read Husseini, the question is Kite Runner or Thousand Splendid Suns🤔

Like under 3 out of 5 stars dislike? Oh wow I thought it's like the 1 book people always gave high ratings for. It's only problem being that it is a devastating and heavy read. Should I look up the bias before reading it or after? Or will I figure it out as I'm reading it? As for the tragic part, the best books I've read turned out to be tragic sooo... I think I'm going to stick with "The Kite Runner" for now since I have the physical copy and it's been staring back at me for what feels like ages now. At some point, I'll make my way around to "A Thousand Splendid Suns". Did you read both and prefer "A Thousand Splendid Suns" to the "The Kite Runner"?

Olfat I only read 'The Kite Runner'. I also have 'A Thousand Splendid Suns', bought it when I was impressed by the name of Husseini.. now, I stare at it the same way you stare at 'The Kite Runner', but with bias🤩. I'll give it a go if you finish 'The Kite Runner' and we can discuss your views of it. What do you say?
