Two and a half years to finish, reading 5-10 pages with breaks. He was probably a proponent of the Monroe doctrine, a feminist and a socialist. Poetry of ideas, mini stories or drawings. Not going to read his work again unless its in an anthology, but I can understand its impact on 1860 America.
