my interpretation so far is that he has become something he doesn’t believe represents his true self and he is afraid of how other people will perceive him and so he hides and tries to mask what he is but no matter how hard he tries, it shows through anyways. It seems like the different characters behind the door represent different reactions people might give, like judgment, concern, grief, etc. it’s interesting
