multi-perspective books still not my favorite, but the story is getting very interesting. definitely a page-turner. short chapters but leaving you hooked on what's next.

Listening to the audiobook. The narrators make a huge difference for me. I prefer the voice for Part 2, the voice of Monife.

I have a quarter of the book left. Really enjoying it so far! I do agree that the writing has grown on me as I've progressed. This is the first novel I've read by this author. I'm reading along with the LFBPOC book club. :) It's been a few months, but I'm excited to join the discussion once I'm finished.

Just curious what got you interested in reading this. Did you read her first novel...My Sister the Serial Killer?
