I’m enjoying this story so far, the descriptions of Paris during this time period are beautiful. Helene is a character that is more reserved and isolated within society and struggles with new feelings of passion for her sick daughter’s doctor while simultaneously trying to stay fully devoted to her daughter without igniting her jealousy. I’m curious if it will end in her daughter exposing the affair
