After Combray I, the illustrations of the past as depicted by the unnamed narrator start to suddenly become more vivid, yet he himself is unable to demean their meaning or even how he feels at most points.
I read a bit of the introduction and thought, “imagine having an epiphany over a Madeleine and tea,” but Proust gave me an explanation I may actually admire and by those means respect
