Really fun book, cozy vibes and a fun sci-fi setting. I actually think it's really smart in how it describes immigrant experiences in a slightly alienated way to make them more effective. I get peoples' comments on how it feels like a "poor analogy," but it's less a one-for-one and more a way to get people to passively think about how humans become robots in society.
