Very familiar territory for Powers so far, but I’m already enjoying it more than The Echo Maker or Generosity. Hoping that this one proves he didn’t lose his spark in the latter half of his career.

As usual, not a fan of some of Powers’s dialogue. But it feels almost charmingly awkward here, like a man who knows he’s out of touch but is doing his best to keep up with the world.
