I honestly kind of like the book during the parts when there isn’t any interaction between Poppy and Casteel. The moment he enters the picture her inner dialogue becomes annoying af and I have to grit my teeth to get through it. But otherwise it’s not bad.

The amount of repetition in this dumbass book is insane. The author keeps hammering in the SAME points for PAGES. There’s genuinely NO new info. The last book was like this too. It amazes me how one person can find so many different ways to say the same thing.

I actually have to stop to vent every few minutes of reading. 😹 This is so funny. I really don’t want to DNF, but omg, Poppy is so ridiculous. So far there hasn’t been any action, only pages and pages of her ridiculous, repetitive inner dialogue. “Casteel this, Casteel that. I hate him but I love him. Life is so unfair.” Give it a break.
