Late night post-autopsy grilled cheese party and Bain is doing the dishes. This book is like crack. AND I LOVE IT.

This is such a different experience than WTSM. Enjoyable and in character, in fact. And with banter. I'm almost sorry I skipped the book in between.

I've now passed the only part of this book I remember, which consisted of people climbing on a roof. Still infinitely better than the first.

If Tante Elyse is in this book, I'm just going to give it an automatic four stars, I don't even care. It may be cheesy but it feels like fun cheesy, like a Babysitters Club Super Special.

Unsure why this books overall rating is lower when the first three pages alone felt more authentic than all of WTSM. Also, fandom shoutouts so far: 3. St. Augustine, Castillo de San Marcos, alpaca. Pretty sure I'm being trolled.
