I don't get how the author won awards, unless it was for something other than this book. It's slow like molasses and frustrating to read. :(

Some parts of this frustrate me. I keep almost putting it down & keep grumbling, "Get ON with it already!" Too much irrelevant dialogue, not enough exposition.
