I get it. The narrator is sentient AI, not a standard human. But it's been 300 pages and it still won't describe any of the people it meets. But I do have to endure it relentlessly describing the exact dimensions of every structure it encounters. Exactly how many seconds long conversation pauses are.
But I still have absolutely no idea what any of these characters ARE ACTUALLY LIKE.
This is barely even a story.

Apparently this won basically every major award the year it came out. 150 pages in, I have absolutely no idea why.
