I would like to judge Helen for believing love is a sin, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t turn over the same religious conflicts in my mind as a teenager. Scratch that, I still do. As believers, I wish we would have more discussions about doubt and how faith is never always exponential, even in adulthood. I know this book sees people more than a service ever might.
