Bess went to her parents house to talk to her mom the morning she was not there at the house. She told her mom that she would come home but only if you help them give them 5 thousand dollars. Her mom had offered her a good doctor to help with the birth of the baby and her mom would help take care of the baby. Bess needed that her feet were hurting and she was having a high risk pregnancy.

As they were cleaning a car had pulled in the driveway it was major Gil messenger. He delivered a letter in a box. The letter said that Greta and her husband were the people that helped him escape, when he was captured by the Nazis. He told her that he loved and hoped to visit one day with his mom. He kept in touch with Greta even after she helped him and he knew that the military post office would not allow photos

After they got Tyson buried briar and Kadence looked out to the ocean to see if there was a U-boat there and there was so Kadence and Brier ran down to the call center. They called in the U-boat in. Kadence told them that they needed to get somebody down here briar had been right all along.They sent out a lot of people to go handle it and they watched it all then went home to clean up after the fire.

Peter ran with Tyson after the fire went off. Kadence got back to the house. They got the fire settled and Kadence and Briar went straight to the boathouse when they got there. They found Peter and Tyson at a table. There was blood everywhere. Apparently Peter had shot Tyson. but only because Tyson was trying to get Peter to come back to Germany.

Instead of running with Tyson,briar ran straight to the cottage after she found out all the stuff. He followed after her and when she got inside Margaret and Bess were inside she told them it was him the spy. Then when he made it to the house he spilled gasoline everywhere and told her if he did not give the photos back he was going to burn the house down. He also threatened her with a gun his grandpa‘s.

Cadence went to major Gil office looked through a lot of things in his jacket she found the necklace and the letter. She opened the letter it was all in German,it was from a woman,and she thinks they are lovers.she took the letter and went back to the cottage, hoping everyone was hot and they could figure out who to call because she thought he was still connected to the Nazis.

Briar went to pick up the model she had made with Mr.Schmidt and it fell out of her hands. It split in two and then she saw photos on ground. They were photos of vacations and other places they looked to be Tyson. Then she went to his house he was there in his room with his back to the door. Then she walked in and he said it was Shelby she was the one who was meeting with the U-boat.

When cadence got home major Gil came and told her he was leaving a lot sooner than he thought.Then he told her that he wanted to stay in touch and want her to come meet his mom with him.Then after he left briar came out of hiding and told her do you really believe all of this. He seems suspicious.Briar was able to talk cadence into to going to his office and looking through it.From all the information she had.

Briar left the funeral early so that she could get home before whatever person was meeting at the U-boat got there. Then as she got home she went straight to gram room in the closet where she had the radio it was missing. She thought Peter took it he said he did not and then she kinda freaked out a little. When she saw him flashing a light in the window, she thought he was giving signs to the U-boat.
