I like how complex the relationship between each family member of sonia’s are right now — like how papa is offering the marriage arrangement.. but was like “he can be a friend at NY too” like at the very least he is really thinking of the best for sonia “becoming prime minister or otherwise”, “better stay in US to be freer than india or return and be proud of you still”
