The Bone field
A darkish story about vikings arriving at a mysterious island after escaping a storm and finding more than they bargained for.
The story isn’t too dark or scary. It's easy to follow. There is no happy ending, and i like that, there too many happy endings in books. I didn’t quite foresee the ending, so that’s a plus.

The Breeding Mound
This started off quite light, very much the characters are passing through and accepting hospitality from the hosts. Then it turns dark quite quickly, and gets darker, it very much is a horror story

The Necropolis
This story is about a man who is the keeper of the dead within a tomb-ship.
The plot feels like a day in the life of the main character, and it seems quite peaceful, nothing horrific, a bit sad really but interesting, it reminds me of the tomb keepers from The High Kings Tomb. The horror of it comes at the end, and i'll be honest, i didn't really see it coming.

The Knights of the Non-Euclidean Table
This story follows the King Arthurs knights on a quest, after he has been killed by a traitor, to defeat Mordred.
There is a sense of finality from the Knights. The plot is darkish. There are eldritch horrors. There is a bittersweet ending which suits the story well, but very much deus ex machina which I'm not a fan of.

The story follows a friar and his charge as they arrive at a town in France looking for a place to stay, but find something going bump in the night.

It's a nice short story, with interesting characters. The plot is easy to follow and while it is a happy ending, not a fully happy ending. Its not too difficult to figure out the antagonist, however the attempts to throw you off are decent
