The virgins committed suicide

Even more disturbing than the movie scene. Oh my God I have never hated a fictional character more than Mr. and Mrs. Lisbon.

I’ve seen Sofia Coppola’s 1999 adaptation like 3 times, but the nuance and details I pick up as I grow to learn more about Therese, Mary, and Bonnie make me more emotional.

The details of the Lisbon house were not covered in the film but in the book I feel disgusted and sympathetic to these Lisbon girls. They deserved so much better.

This book is not as swag as the movie :(

Lmfao they wanted to know what Lux’s lipstick tasted like so the boys made a boy wear the lipstick and kiss them. That’s kinda sweet I wish this was in the movie lol
