I love Michael Pollan’s writing. He takes such boring or scientific topics and makes them interesting to learn about.
Thoughts on the research - psychedelic mushrooms and lsd were outlawed for a non scientific reason. humans in general but def. Those in positions of influence/control clearly feared anything mind altering which makes me curious about why we’re so afraid of it
