I get the “this is clearly Taylor and Travis fanfic” argument somewhat but honestly it feels like the “straight out of a romcom” start to their relationship was literally JUST the vague inspiration for the backdrop of the book; it isn’t reading as fanfic or really that Taylor-related at all, or maybe I’m bald idk
