I will need 3-5 business days to process that ending. The fact that everybody was laughing after the fire, like Brigid and her friends laughed at the river bank in their youth was *chefs kiss*. Her descent into the very thing she was fighting against, the power hungry bishop, was masterfully done. And the reconciliation with the Goddess and her friends at the end🥹

Lommán is a trans man, and I am HERE for it. Also him and Dara being possibly involved with each other? Bridget watching from the window and just thinking, ‘that’s MY wifey’. I hope Ciara keeps her promise. I like her confidence, and the power that she posses.Patrick PISSES ME OFF SM. Leave the women ALONE! But if it has to be anybody, PLEASE let it be Bishop Brendan, the ancient Ireland feminist😜

The duality of ‘Mother Brigid’ where she’s this being of rage and kindness, and Brigid just being a 16 year old and travelling around Leinster and frolicking with her besties is 🤌. I’m surprised we got a reveal of The Goddess Bridget so soon in the book, but I loved how she was presented. What I wouldn’t give to be apart of her convent. Also Darlughdach is a pagan icon who protects her wifey and sisters
