I read The Help and LOVED it. I read it twice, watched the movie, have talked about it with many others, but this book is falling flat for me and I am struggling to even finish it. I find the writing style a bit tedious and unsophisticated. A bit too cheeky. I will see if I can continue. Rather disappointed since I loved the previous book so much.
