Murbella is also really interstinf and im curious to see what frank is up to with duncans character. Also sheeana. We havent seen her yet. Im also wonderinf how many years after the last convo darwi has with miles ghola. Is he still 9? I want to see darwis thoughts on this. I like how darwi is also trying to be all normal with the lunch shit and celebrating i love her oh my god

The way thats so ironic given franks views on gay people… but i do believe tht was a consequence of misinformation at the time, probably. And he does acknowledge the repression can be bad. Genuinely i think he was repressed himself or insecure becaude thats how these booksr ead to me.

Holy shit also i want to mention the addressing the fact morality existed everywhere at every time but people just chise to abandon it. The necessities of the times is completely irrelevant as our human ancestors were the ones who brought it out in the first place!

Fuck broo the more i think about religion the more it terrifies me. Its like amazing seeing how people create this. People really cant get enough of labeling things like ive said this so many times but holy shit guys what the fuck and knowing i believed in that is what is so crazy.and ive mostly been on my own deconstructing sikhi! Its so irrelevant nobody puts effort into it, as much as i hate to admit.

The onky way on as i see it is to address the rot and inhuman way they function. I mean all these breeding plans, seriously! They are no better than anyone else.

AH and another thing i want to write down that was mentioned a while back is when darwi addresses the rationalisations the bg makes. So many things are based on rationalisation and the human desire to know everything and adhere to absolutes, dare i say (franks words!!). The bg aim to control others and see themselves in others, but they have lost sight of who they really are/act hypocritcally. —

And i cant help but compare that to an abusive relationship. The comparisons that have been made time and time again of ‘god’ and a tormenter, and gods followers as the abuse victim who tries justifying it.. puts a whole new layer on the way religion blends with hierarchies and the ‘master slave relationship’ it fosters, in franks words. That sentiment rings so fucking true

Fuck im still thibking abt how the rabbi says israel save her. Whenever someone shows any hint of challenge for your worldview (basically your identity, as i see it now), this is seen as a spiritual challenge, heresy, something you know is bad but them, bless their souls, dont. Another thing that lures people to religion is that sense of value, of knowing something someone doesnt, of being ‘true’.—

And you see peoplr take solace in the fact that ‘oh my religion/culture/‘guru’ (a recent experience of mine) called this! Like does that translate to your idea of divinity bejng true? No. Something i have realised is these religions and spiritual guides use the most common trick when telling lies— sprinkle some truth, something people know/take for a fact so that they can justify it to themselves and others.

I see this as another way of labeling. Duncan had the qualities of a trythsayer, looking inward, but yeah wow. Also sholem teaching rebecca about l that quality of innocence and knowing nothing when approaching situations is so much like what darwi talks about at the start. The overlap in all sorts of philosophies is so amazing. —
