The sunk cost fallacy is an economic term to describe the tendency to stick with a project or decision even when it's not yielding anything beneficial, because of past investments. So, because you've come so far in this book, you don't want to put it down just yet even if you don't like it because of the time you've already invested. You might as well finish is the mindset otherwise it feels incomplete. So, I was like oh this is like sunk cost fallacy thing when we don't want to DNF a book if we've gotten far enough. Anyway, don't mine me, I was just making the mental connection.

I love learning new things! Trick is to remember those new things.😉
