George is gone, and now I'm wondering why this story is still going. 😩 It feels like the momentum disappeared with him, and I'm hoping the ending gives me a reason to keep caring.

It's okay. The characters have grown on me, but I'm still waiting for that moment that takes this story from good to unforgettable.

Landry's death caught me off guard. Just when I thought things were settling, the story reminded me that no one is guaranteed tomorrow. 😔

Isabel finally stood up for herself! 👏🏾 She'd been swallowing her feelings for so long, so it was satisfying to see her put those women in their place. Sometimes Southern "politeness" needs a little interruption. 😏

12% in and I'm still waiting for this story to pull me in. The writing is good, but I'm hoping the pace picks up soon.🤞🏽
