Finally an hour into the plot (on Spotify) the inciting incident happened.
Honestly, I only kept going for the Goodreads badge and because the description foreshadowed what would happen.
It wasn’t as breathtaking as The Girl Who Lost a Leopard, another book I’m reading at the same time.
Hopefully from here it gets more interesting!

It doesn’t do what it promised in the blurb.
21% into it and hardly any of that stuff happened.
Lots of descriptions and philosophical thoughts. I don’t think most people pick up this book for this stuff.

A book for adults, I'd say. "Adjunct" is not used in the linguistic sense (so far).
The title got me. The book is a bit more vulgar than what I like, but I'll give it a chance.
(BTW, it's not too vulgar, but I'm used to children's novels.)
