It's tough to keep up with the names and fill in the pieces going back and forth between character POVs and generations. Written format would have been easier.
Peter is alot like Martin (older brother of Eli/The Colonel who was killed by Comanches) in that he is cerebral, cautious, and possesses elevated morals compared to the Rangers and his Father, Eli. Charles and Glen appear to be his surviving sons.
