Couldn’t finish this book. I’m intrigued by the premise of the story but this one read more like a textbook with too many repetitive footnotes and references. Didn’t feel like the author did the characters justice. I have a strong suspicion that Hollywood could make an incredible screen adaptation that could warm us up to Mrs. Mandelbaum a little better.
