This book made me really dislike Chip. Why is it that Jo runs all her plans by Chip first but Chip upends his family time after time without asking Jo first? Also nothing like a little child abandonment and endangerment to elevate him to father of the year. Chip doesn’t seem to have anything really kind to say about Joanna. At one point he describes her as “boring.” Wow, what a winner.
