Love this so far. I live in PR and have been to Carnaval here; I like the focus on things like the vejigantes & other aspects of the history that are specific to this island. That said, I’ve restarted this book over and over and I’m pretty familiar with the history and terminology. I’d def suggest reading the hard copy - I know the cultural context for this & the audiobook is still confusing me.
