A-ha. I always wondered where Don Rosa's Master of Mississippi came from. This was one of those rare Barks stories I have no recollection of ever reading before. Quite good, too.

Opening with the title story, which feels a bit like an apology for the previous volume's filler: a solid twenty pages of high adventure! Still no great artistic splash-pages like we had nearer the beginning, but it's a step in the right direction regardless.
