I did not mind the tasteful romance scene. I do mind how much this girl avoids her problems (and then complains about her parents doing the same). If I saw the scene with her parents prior, id be down on the floor with her mother but I know we allll process differently

Respectfully, the narrator handles their emotions like a middle schooler

Hmm im enjoying reading but have a few thoughts
The narrator seems to have a very naive voice, with most of the tension thus far coming from Sebastian instead of her mom. Idk I think adults are more familiar with grief, but it could be her first loss.

Is it just me or can Sebastian hear more of her thoughts than she can of his?
Also the fight in chapter 20 escalated too quickly was low key crazy
