I’m glad for HEA but also don’t think the mental health was handled appropriately. No good acknowledgements for all the scientists and doctors she talked to. It was hard and cute but also not great. I’ll say 3.25 stars. Curious where Harris Brothers stories pick up. In epilogue, Gareth is 30, Vi 26, twins 24, Booker 22.

This is awkward. His revealing challenge to disclose his 5 days before attempt to a new acquaintance seems fishy and retraumatizing. And her falling for him during is both questionable and selfish. He’s trying to heal and she’s fighting with him about kissing.

The suicide handling is awkward AF. His speech? Just his dark story, no lesson about recovery. His therapist’s talk challenges don’t seem right professionally. Did author consult with survivors on this and I’m wrong just because I can’t relate? Super dark subject matter for a romcom.
