An excellent example of a Golden Age Mystery. Very cleverly conceived with interesting character and witty takes on the mystery industry. It honestly rivals Christie and is more in line with the more cerebral Sayers. In fact, at one points I was feeling shades of Chesterton’s The Man who Was Thursday. The biggest clue is, indeed, the title. Cunning.
