In the politest way possible, this feels like one of the horror movies that you can get on Netflix that no one has ever heard of before and ultimately is okay, but is mostly just in the B-movie zone. The book is mid so far. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing new. Feels very familiar in the way that haunted house movies can be. The back and forth timelines are a bit buggy.
