I am appreciative of the relationship struggles and communication issues portrayed in Violet and Xaden’s relationship. While the desire is still unreal in a lot of ways, I think their fights and the work they are putting into the relationship are relatable. Relationships aren’t easy, and they require work, communication, and trust. The two characters show that, despite their flaws.

Devouring this book as fast as I can. Sequels often disappoint but this book is just as good as the first, if not better. Gets so much better at Part 2.
