I love how for every women chil mahtab was a place they were rather free at then being prisoners because the outside world treated them worse then a human and hold them like prisoners and I'm so happy that zeba met her kids and tamina finally free from his brother and I LOVE how zeba let her kids roam free then making them stay at home away from people and she burned his clothes for cooking too,she is so STRONG!

I knew deep inside that it might not be zeba who exactly killed kamal and I didn't even thought that one of the reasons zeba didn't want to reveal the girl can be the cause of her daughters being given as a wife or slave like many women in chil mahtab.

I'm almost done and I'm so happy with the book and the mullah habibullah being zeba's father made me quite sad because I don't know how sad gulnaz must have felt seeing him again.

Last year I read about farkhunda and did some browsing about what happened and it never left my mind, I wanted to read a book about her but there were none and today unexpectedly while reading I saw a paragraph which had no year or name mentioned but I knew it was about our farkhunda jan the moment I read about a women killed by a mob because of a fake rumor, it breaks my heart, may those man go to the worst hell!

Love the change of place for zeba all of a sudden I thought the biscuits of gulnaz did something but we still don't the reason behind the kind people who gave statements for zeba being crazy and I literally didn't expect Basir to come so far to meet his mother, I cried here, my heart wretched to see mother meet his son after being away from her children for so long 😭, nadia hashimi's book is what I needed.

Finally I got something about that day, the old lady who told alot about zeba and kamal to Yosuf was very adorable auntie, but the when zeba and yosuf finally talked about that day
What the??? I thought about something else but what??? that bastard kamal raped a little girl in his home while zeba was there and oh my god! She couldn't handle the face the girl made and killed him, he deserves hell!!!!!

It's my first time reading about black magic which made the book so interesting even though it's a bad thing but I was always curious about such things and I love how Gulnaz encourages Zeba to do the some too and it makes zeba find another version of her too . Nadia hashimi's writing is something I want to know what will happen next and it's not boring at all, and yosuf got rejected for the first time too 😆
