my god we couldn't have just calmed down with the plot developments?

Book needs to either stick to making it easy to follow along in which case it should stop condescending to Din this hard or go ham on total bullshit twists and focus on Din being fucked up and pretty, but we need to get out of this Hollywood fantasy Sherlock redo fast it's getting very rote
