This book took a while to win me over. For much of the book, I enjoyed it but wasn't completely invested. However, the last 100 pages really brought everything together, and I ended up caring a lot more about the characters than I expected.
While it wasn't a standout read for me, I think it would make an incredibly cozy and heartwarming TV series because I love found family theme.
