I really liked the story Jumping Monkey Hill. It is interesting how none of the writers were referred to by their names but instead by their nationalities, as if nationality is still the best clue to help them contextualize each other’s existence. It’s also classic how the old British man kept dismissing their real experiences as not African enough.
