okay now that im abt 1/4 of the way thru the book, i do like how the book makes SURE that you know who is who especially with the character quick ref. i appreciate it, really makes the book more accessible. the book really doesn't hold your hand when it comes to introducing new things to you which is smth im rather neutral abt

happy that we're finally getting to some of the smut in the book. still don't like how the book treats children. tho they are of age in their universe/world? so a greyish territory for me. consent is a HUGE part of the culture which is the only reason i think that im not totally icked out by it. should be fine from here bc i believe everything is dealing with adults?

intriguing premise, tho don't like how children are treated so far. i supposed it's a good contrast as to her improvement in her quality of life from phedre's life in the night court compared to her life after being taken in by delauney, but like there's lowkey some grooming undertones that give me the ick when we're referring to like a ten yr old to 13 yr old. and don't get me wrong, i read a LOT of smut.
