The sign of the yokes section, Jeremiah 27-28 is incredibly jarring, because it's the first time God commands his people to faithfully support a pagan ruler after incalculable admonishments against following the ways of the Ammonites, worshippers of Baal, etc. This being Nebuchadnezzar who we know worshipped Ishtar and Marduk and sometimes styled himself a living god.
