Author locked in, but god does he love referencing modern day celebrities or figures. Chapter 6 is a pure retelling of the political history of the island, making it one of tbe best chapters so far.

Introduction & 1st chapter are egregiously written & was so awful that I took notes to understand the author’s scattered timeline but also to write my grievances. Its a book on PR’s exploitation, I don’t care about your opinion. Awful self-inclusion. Also writes like the audience knows every concept and act. Uses PR-specific jargon w/o explaining. Makes points but doesn’t explain. Random references at times.
