Thank you, Ambleside, for allowing me to understand the Sword of Damocles reference

I’m going to keep reading, unless I don’t finish before the library takes the book back, because once the main characters start interacting more, it seems like it would be a book I would really enjoy. However here, at about a quarter of the way through the book, I just want to state that I HATE this book

I’m on chapter 9 and I still feel like it’s the intro and I hate it. Does this depressing book ever get any better?

I’m NOT loving this. It’s boring and depressing.
