I have paused this book and started over, annotating along the way. There’s a bunch of time period relevant words that I am not familiar with and in order to understand the story better I really need to slowly pick my way through this one. It’s a bit of a chore but also really interesting and I’m learning a lot.

I left this in my parents car and it’s now a state away from me. I’ll pick it up later this month.
